Charles MacBride, AIA, CPHC, NCARB is a practicing architect and assistant professor at the University of Texas at Arlington School of Architecture. He is currently working with an inter-disciplinary research and design-build team on a tiny home passive house micro-community. MacBride teaches integrated design studio, building science, and lightweight building structures. He has earned awards for teaching, research, design, and master planning, and is completing a recent grant investigating passive house examples in hot and humid climates. He has taught previously at South Dakota State, Iowa State, and the University of Colorado Denver.
