Jim Larsen

Mr. Larsen is a mechanical engineer by training with nearly 40 years of experience in the development of glass products for windows.  Today, Jim’s principal job responsibility is supporting the recognition of efficient windows through building energy codes.  He also provides product support and website development (www.cardinalcorp.com), product brochures, customer training, and building energy research.

Jim has been involved with NFRC since its inception as well as multiple technical activities such as ASTM, and ASHRAE.  Jim is a frequent presenter at energy efficiency conferences such as EEBA, Affordable Comfort, BETEC, DOE Envelope Conference, etc., and is a recognized AIA education provider.
