Shannen L. Martin, CPHC, LEED AP ID+C, is an emerging professional in the field of architecture. She holds Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Architecture and Construction Science from Prairie View A&M University. She enrolled in one of the first university programs to implement passive house training into curriculum and earned her Phius Certified Passive House Consultant credentials prior to graduating.
Shannen has previous experience as a sustainability consultant, including analysis, project certification (LEED, WELL, and zero carbon), and material review/specification for indoor air quality. With a heavy concentration in sustainability and Public Interest Design, she is interested in exploring and advancing the application of passive building and regenerative architecture to address social, economic, and environmental issues in marginalized communities.
